Nursery
Nursery facilitates care for ages birth through 17 months.
KIDS MINISTRY
We strive for students:
- to KNOW God’s Word and promises through solid Biblical teaching
- to GROW in their faith through discipleship and by asking questions
- to SOW seeds in their communities through service, outreach, Christ-centered living
When you arrive, one of our volunteers will gladly guide you to the first-time check-in station where you can tell us a little about your family to help us serve you well. On our check-in form we’ll ask things like what allergies your child may have, how many children are in your family, and get your contact information. Or you can fill out the new family check-in form online to save a few minutes when you check-in for the first time.
Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. This sticker is also what you’ll use to pick up your child after the service.
Background checks for all staff and volunteers.
Secure check-in system.
At least two teachers in each classroom at all times.
OUR CLASSES
Nursery
Walkers
The Walkers class serves children from 18 months to 36 months.
Pre-K
The Preschool Ministry serves children from 3 years old through kindergarten..
Elementary
The K-3 Ministry serves children kindergarten through 3rd grade.
At HVBC we have the ministry goals of bringing the Bible to life through engaging videos, hands on activities, and imaginative play, creating a safe place for kids to express their faith and nurture an environment
where kids feel comfortable asking questions, and providing opportunities for kids to serve their church and their community.
Hope 45
The Hope 45 Ministry serves 4th through 5th grade.
At HVBC we have the ministry goals of providing these “in-betweeners” their own ministry where they can go deeper, nurturing an environment where kids feel comfortable asking tough questions and allow them to investigate the answers as their faith becomes their own, and begin teaching them what it means to be a servant leader by giving them opportunities to serve and/or lead portions of lesson.
WANT TO VOLUNTEER?
If you want to volunteer for the Kids Ministry at Hope Valley Bible Church, we have opportunities for you to get involved in various age groups from nursery to grade 5. Each volunteer undergoes a background check to ensure a safe and secure environment for the children.
