Regional Disaster Relief

Hope Valley Bible Church is committed to responding to natural disaster as God leads us.

“We offer our prayers to God, believing that He is present in the midst of trouble, and will bring comfort and relief to those directly and indirectly impacted. “Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the Lord will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared.” ~Proverbs 3:25-26

Our designated fund for disaster relief is used to provide immediate financial assistance and support through our local church partners in affected areas.
“Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others.” ~1 Timothy 6:18
Not every natural disaster is the same, but our desire to show that we care is always present. In some circumstances, we respond with our physical presence. Our value is to partner with existing local churches who will stand present with the community before, during, and after the disaster. We seek guidance from our immediate circles of influence, starting with our church leaders, staff, and congregation. We are guided by how God is speaking to leadership, key individuals and volunteers in our church. Engagement can be for a brief season, or sometimes last long-term, dependent upon what would best serve each unique situation.
“And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!” Romans 10:15

International

As we endeavor to inspire people to follow Jesus and fearlessly change the world, we recognize that Jesus gave us the mandate of the Great Commission to the global church. This means every church in the world has the call to reach its Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the ends of the earth. Therefore, it’s imperative for us to engage the multi-ethnic, multi-cultural worldwide church as together we do what couldn’t be done alone. With this goal in mind we partner with the global church through the following organizations to deploy God's people to help change the world through missions trips and support.

Caribbean Baptist Mission Society is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that partners with Christian leaders in Haiti to spread the gospel through church ministry, education, construction, medical teams, and installation of clean water wells and purification systems.

UTK works with churches in the Dominican Republic in its efforts to proclaim the message of the Gospel of Christ and encourage sustainability for individuals and communities by developing biblical community. They do this by facilitating short-term mission trips with long-term impact, working with churches to disciple and develop leaders, achieving sustainability of life through pure water and medical awareness, assisting local leaders to develop economic sustainability for their community through business development, and serving foreign missionaries.
